Questions & answers

The things people ask before they call.

Everything below is answered in the order you'd actually want it — from who turns up and what NAPIT approval means, through booking and pricing, to the paperwork you keep afterwards.

About Verrechia Electrical

Who will actually turn up to do the work?

Jack Verrechia — every time. Verrechia Electrical is a sole-trader business, so the person you speak to is the person who does the work. No subcontractors, no rotating crews.

Are you qualified and insured?

Yes to both. Jack is fully qualified and fully insured, and is a NAPIT-approved electrician — one of the UK's UKAS-accredited Part P scheme operators.

What does NAPIT approved actually mean for me?

NAPIT is a government-authorised Competent Person Scheme. Because Jack is a member, he can self-certify notifiable electrical work to Part P of the Building Regulations himself — so you don't pay for a separate building-control inspection, and you receive the correct certificate for your records.

Where are you based?

On Main Road in Sundridge, just west of Sevenoaks — 213 Main Rd, Sundridge, Sevenoaks TN14 6EJ.

The work we do

What kind of jobs do you take on?

General electrical work of every kind: EV charging points, new installations, consumer unit changes, smart lighting and home automation, outdoor lighting, home security, smart doorbells, WiFi access points, TV and audio — plus 24-hour call-outs and emergencies.

Do you install EV chargers?

Yes — it's one of the jobs customers most often recommend Jack for. He handles the full install and, where the property needs supply work done first, will help arrange it with your network operator.

Is any job too small?

No. From a single socket or a broken light fitting to a full new installation, Jack takes on the small jobs with the same care as the large ones — customers regularly call him back for exactly this reason.

Booking & response times

How quickly can you attend?

For emergencies, fast — Verrechia Electrical is open 24 hours, seven days a week, and reviewers describe Jack attending on short notice. For planned work, he'll agree a date with you when you get in touch.

Do you really work 24 hours?

Yes. The Google listing shows open 24 hours, 7 days a week, and the quick response to urgent and dangerous faults is one of the things customers mention most.

Will I have to wait in all day?

No. Jack agrees a time with you and turns up when he says he will — punctuality and reliability come up again and again in the reviews.

How do I book?

Call 07999 101421 (or 01732 647070), or email jack@verrechia-electrical.co.uk with a few details about the job. A photo often helps him give you a quicker, clearer answer.

Pricing & payment

How much will it cost?

Jack gives you an honest, up-front price before any work starts, with a plain-English explanation of what's involved. Reviewers repeatedly describe his pricing as reasonable and fair.

Will the price change once you've started?

You'll have a clear price agreed before work begins. If something unexpected comes to light, Jack talks it through with you first — no surprises added to the bill.

After the job

What documentation will I receive?

For notifiable work, you receive the appropriate electrical installation certificate, self-certified through NAPIT to Part P — the paperwork you'll want for your records, insurance or a future house sale.

Will you leave a mess?

No. Neat, tidy work is the single most-repeated theme in Jack's reviews — the site is left clean and the finish is done properly.

Do customers come back?

Constantly. Several reviewers describe years of repeat work across many different jobs, and recommending Jack to neighbours and friends.

Still got a question?

Call Jack and ask — day or night for anything urgent. He'll give you a straight answer.
